Simple - Dyna Beads..... Fixed my wobble - shake problems! I'll never run another bias ply tire without them!

Swap to Radials and DRIVE IT. I have used them for 40 years and would never go back. The era I am true to is MY era.

Round tires are the only kind of tires that work good. Hot Rods are cars that at times are driven fast. The faster you drive, the greater the importance of the Hot Rods tires being round. Someone should make some ROUND Hot Rod tires!

I had a similar problem with my excelsiors from coker in the same size. Mine wants to do it from 65-70 mph. Tried all the same stuff you did, changed wheels, tires, re mount and balance, 180 spin remount. Think I'm going to try some liquid stuff you put into tire to balance, we use it in our tow trucks with 19.5 wheels, seems to work well.

Got to agree with 39ford----spending that much $$ and the associated frustration is too much expense to appear "traditional". In the early days having an "edge" was the norm---radials definitely have the edge over bias plys.

I found my brake drum to be way out of balance. I balanced them on a bubble balance and it made thing a little better. I have 5.50s and 700 16.
