Put the body back on and drive it! Have an upholstery guy put a removable panel in the roof (for when ya want a "sun roof" or maybe a "moon roof"). JMHO.

Don't let the summer go to waste, John

Uh oh!!! Hopefully that wildfire keeps it's distance.

I'm stoked for you "DB", your model a has been one of my favorites and it wasn't even finished. It just looks so damn cool with it's stance and chop that I can't fathom how it's going to get any better but I know it will. Are you going all show?

If so here's my good buddy Terd Ferguson's engine for some inspiration. It's a 390 with pearl pink paint on that engine. Let us know what you have up your sleeve damn it!!!

Any news? Ihave been watching the coverage on Fox news locally here and worrying a bit about you. They did a quick shot this morning of damage down there and in the shot was what looked like a '32 - '34 fenderless P/U and a weird fifties european car burnt to a crisp. I hope your luck is holding!

There's alot of damage west of us and also north of us. We are in good shape, it ended up not coming near us, though I was a little worried for a couple hours because we're sorta out of town by a few miles and close to lots of dry flammable acreage. Thanks for the thoughts, there are a lot of folks who lost everything.. I hope they get the help they need..:(

Good to hear from you man! When you posted on Monday about the smoke, all I could think about is what a pain in the *** it would be to try to evacuate a diss***embled hot rod! 'Course, family and house hold stuff would have to come first, but damn.

I love your car. I just rewatched one of my favorite youtube videos which happens to be of your car. I saw a comment on that video from you that mentioned upholstery. I can't wait to see it.

I wish mine was that far along, I'd also love to have that Firestone sign. Hope the fires avoid your shop.....

Good that your house didn't get hit. Now, how is the progress coming along? I thought you finished that motor, but now I cannot wait to see what you do.
