What tail lights are these?

What kind of taillights are these? They are marked GM 14 SAE STI 71.

how 'bout 71 Chevelle since there is a 71 in the part number and they look like 71 Chevelle.

 

Pic very dark, but I'd say 49ratfink is close.

I guess it must be a bad photo cause I do not remeber 71' Chevelle's running these tail lights.

 

X2 on that. 71 means 1971.

 

Those are '71 Chevelle. I have a dozen of those.

Bel-Air/Impala in '71 were rectangular in shape
