Yep, the names Aric, I'm from Nebraska. Been a gear head all my life but cars have been a bit on hiatus as I concentrate on family and career. Up until recently I was always a muscle car guy. I have a 68 SS 396, a 73 Z28 and an 84 Camaro. I've always like old rods but they where never at the front of my list... that is, until 2.5 years ago. 2 of my best friends and I built a 51 Mercury and drove it to VLV13. It was there that I realized just how much my taste in muscle cars (Camaros in general) had taken a back seat. Since that point, all I can think about is building a Model a Sedan. I've even thought about selling one or two camaros to build my dream rod. I've been lurking around on this sight for quite some time... finally decided I should make myself known... OK.. that's it..
Welcome from the SW part of the state. The muscle cars are nice, but not so much here. Your plan to sell one and get into the swing of traditional hot rods and/or customs is a great idea!! Keep us updated on what you get.
Problem is, cars are like family... I'm going to have a hard time getting rid of any of them... I'm actively searching for a 28-30 Model A Tudor Sedan... I know exactly what I want so it's going to need to be built over time... Let's just say it'll have the most obnoxious supercharged Big Block chevy you ever saw!
