This hasn't been my best week. But then again it may have been worse for some on the east coast. Monday I changed the rear end pumpkin from 3.40's to 2.79's in my 40 coupe. Just what I needed but the new set had only 150 miles on them and they howl under acceleration. I took the car out today anyway and I went to a function with a picnic on the river. The cars were being parked on the gr*** and I drug my remote trans filter in the gr*** entering the parking area. I heard a pop and a trail of fluid followed me to my parking spot. Best way to get it home was by tow truck. A friend had a truck so it was only a 50 spot to get it home. Oh! Did I mention that I had a colonoscopy on Wednesday. The good news is my doc says I'm a perfect ***hole.

$50.00 tow! my daily wouldn't start after I got gas a while back. cost me $90.00 to tow it about 1/2 mile. the tow guy was across the street from the gas station eating lunch. at least I got home quickly.

Yes I know the tow was cheap. He gives a discount to members of our lobbying organization and did not charge for milage. It was about 20 miles away.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune with the trans cooler, just another reason to have three pedals. Good news on the colonoscopy, some of these young guys don't know what they are missing.

You didn't say what rear end std or open 8"-9"? Sounds like it isn't setup properly. Wish I had known about the picnic on the river might have ventured down.

When I had my colonoscopy, I swear the doc must have been trying to look at the back side of my tonsils....mine was clear too...

It was an 8". I have a set of 3.00's I will stick in it now. I knew the filter was a little low and noticed that it had scratches on the bottom by hitting a speed bump in my subdivision. I was going to put a shorter filter on it. Really don't need it but it was on the shelf and installed it just because. Problem fixed and will just remove it and run a line to the cooler.

If you think a colonoscopy is a pain in the ****, how would you like to spend five years in a Turkish prison?

I never felt a thing when I had mine done. My issue was the sore BH the night before when the Gatorade came out..

Once you turn 50 they sure get interested in your ***hole. I made 'em wait 7 years to get into mine. Kept telling them it's exit only. They got me back by making me wait 3 hours for the procedure. What kind of emergency can a proctologist have? Somebody get a toy stuck? Anyway, he said I had one of the clearest colons he's seen. No polyps of any kind. I told him anyone who knew me could have told him I'm a perfect ***hole. I don't need another for ten years.

If you're gonna have trouble with a rear end, it's much better if it's the one in your car.

Hey MJ; good to hear that your perfect ****. Sounds like you scored a double ender in one week. Don't listen to the sissies about colon TV. Wait untill you have a biopsy of the prostate. They don't knock you out for that one and all the nurses come in and laugh at you.

I too was clear and no polyps. 14 years p***ed due for my first. I guess I was a little concerned because I have two car friends with issues. One with **** cancer and another just had 10" of colon removed for precaution. It's not that big of a proceedure and should not be overlooked.

Try having it done up the other end! Forget what they call it when they put a scope up your dangle, I call it no fun! First a nurse comes in with a syringe to put a deadener up your unit, after she does it, and has a good laugh, the doc comes in and has this scope that looks like a cobra, and up it goes. The worse part for me was that I ended taking a day off from work, as it took time for everything to shrink down and stop leaking. All that, and he tells me everthing is good.

Think you had a bad week? I lost my job, two high school friends died (health reasons), had a flat on my truck during 106 degree heat and found out my son is headed to Afghanistan.

Good news is that I have been done with Chemo for about a year!!

If you had a colonoscopy on Wednesday, we who have been there know where you were on Tuesday. Ain't that fun....

    Congrats on the result.

I know of three people that are gone in the last three years due to colon cancer. I also have a half-***ed relative that had 18 inches of colon removed last week due to the fact that he got his first colonoscopy at 62.

For you younger guys, get one at 50, or earlier if you have a family history. It is truly a life saving procedure.

You can fix all the car related stuff.
