His idea for this truck was to have a combination of classic tricks with a modern flair. Obviously, it had to have air ride. A 55 Chevy dash with modern gauges. Bigger wheels but with a nod to a vintage style....

The engine is a Vortec 350. 700r4 trans. Currie 9in.

After he passed, his Mom asked us to finish it. So we are. She will get this truck when its done. All of the work has been done at Devious Customs in Riverside. Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6 pm (til whenever) if you'd like to join us! We've got a lot of talent working on this and its going to turn out bitchin... and it'll be done by SEMA.

We started by stripping it down to the chassis. Lowered the body mounts 3in. Added a 6 link rear suspension... Remade the bed mounts. Raised the running boards up a bit. Re mounted the bumpers. Stripped the cab and doors and started the body work. All this in an effort to get it to the Severed Ties show in Cucamonga this last Saturday. It made it.

So far, weve got a lot of companies helpin us get this done..

This is the script from the plaque.

“We have become part of something much more complicated than you or I will ever fully comprehend. We build more than just trucks, we build friendships, we build futures, we build our dreams. We drive our trucks low and hold our heads high because we have an unwritten and unspoken agreement that we will live life to the fullest and never fall victim to the norm. Others laugh at us when we spend hours on end working on our trucks, yet shake our hands when we are done.”
