Just picked this up the yesterday in an old junk yard just south of me! only been sitting out since 04' but still a very cool ride, its a newport with a 361 push****on, had front and rear a/c and electric rear window, only has 34k original miles and it runs, as of today! not well but it will! interior is decent and all four tires hold air! going to be the new Belltown Speed Shop swap meet car, also my moms bellflower art mobile studio check out her work at www.marywattyeadon.com

A pillarless hardtop wagon and push ****on transmission. That will be a cool longroof when you're done.

A friend of mine just sold one of these recently. He's had 63's & 64's..and also recently sold a 61 Chrysler Wagon. All very cool. The front & back AC units came in handy with the size of these babies !

Awesome! Do it justice, they are too cool and durable and good looking a car to not do so...

I want to see a 63-64 Chrysler with it's headlights canted like a 61-62 model. That big, flat headlight mount area and the shape of the grille seem like it's just begging for canted quads.

the plan with this car is to clean it up and drive it! it runs, I may lower it and would to sometime put some chrome reverse wheels or astro's on it, but really thats it, oh and some pinstriping maybe! paint my shop name on the back gl*** and drive the hell out of it!

I grew up riding in a 63 New Yorker that my dad inherited from his father. Really cool cars that have a unique style I will always love. Looks like a cool project and mostly complete and in not too bad of shape. Good luck.

PS - What else is in that yard that might be sellable as a whole car????

COOL! One of 6,566 Newport hardtop station wagons in 1963. Of those, 3,618 were the 6 p***enger style and 2,948 had the third rear facing seat. They made more 1970 Plymouth GTXs than that wagon!

cool! I spent last tuesday fixing a leak in my gas tank as well. it's really in a bad spot right behind the back tire getting sandblasted going down the road. I'm going to make a small plate to cover the bottom of the tank to protect it somewhat.
