HOW HOT does it have to be to curdle paint!!

    shot some wheels yesterday AM started at 7.... by the time the second coat went on at 9:30, it was 95° turned out amazingly well considering. the rest of the car will have to wait till this heat breaks!

    Looks good, and yes, this is getting absurd. It was 110 yesterday where I am at....

    At least 250 degrees...you've got 140 degrees to go...hang in there...!!!

    Those are some big red wheels...
    Painting in this heat is the worst. Had a mild heat stroke painting the chassis the other day wearing a tyvek suit in a steel garage in the middle of the day. I hate dripping sweat all over the freshly sprayed paint!

    I must be twenty minutes north of you and it is getting downright oppressive..... hate to even go out to the shop in this heat!

    best not to look at the thermometer.... just can't help it.

    that does suck... happened the other day while i was wet-sanding.... oh well, sweat makes a good liquid?

    16X8's for the dragster tires rear and 15X6's in the front... got the trim rings and baby moons for them and almost hate to cover them up. best "flow" of the paint will get covered!
