Later model bench seats in late 30's coupes?

I'm in a spot and looking for suggestions. The coupe that I have '38 chevy business coupe came with some ugly 70's bench seats. I wanted to swap it out to a more fitting, less gaudy looking bench seat. I figure my chances of finding a stock seat are slim and even if I do, the reupholstering would blow the budget. I tried a '71 nova bench, but it was about 4" too wide.

I've considered S-10 and other small pickup seats, but would prefer a split back bench that can fold forward for access to the back.



Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

 

Some of the Japanese car seats fit, Toyota seems to spark up some memory but I don't remember the model/s.
