I followed the method per voodoo, minus the adhesion promoter. The wheel was good and scuffed up for a good bite with the epoxy primer. Use quality materials and you should get a quality job and only have to do it once....

Epoxy primer and 2k topcoat has always worked for me.

Rattle-can paint always comes off anything you touch with your hands often.

That looks really good, and the proper way to do it. If it was clean before you paintedit, you should be good to go and it'll last. Adhesion promoter just helps for that extra bond.

On my wheel, I used rattle can primer and good rattle can paint mixed by the auto paint store. Clean sanded surface. It looks really great but after a few months, it is wearing through on the back of the wheel where I have my hand the most. The rest still looks great. So, I think I'd go with a fancier method of painting the wheel if your car isn't just a daily driver like mine.

I follow the process Earl Schieb says.

I use use a 2 part putty epoxy for underwater pool repair (Don't use JB Weld, it's way to hard to sand)

When I "V" the cracks, I try to get a little undercut just for insurance.

If the wheel isn't "rubber" then you don't need the Bulldog. MP&C did a Killer job on his Plastic Wheel.

    Good Luck.
