Well done and great to watch. I'll be back for more. Scotty (and others) I think you will find that shifter handle on certain models of helicopters. On the cyclic stick. Here is one on Ebay off a Cobra 160645778160 It's up to you if you want to hook up the ****ons that fire the missiles and 20mm though.
I often wonder about the use of video as medium replacing print (not that I want to see that, I just think we're moving in that direction). To date most of the mainstream attempts have been no threat whatsoever to a good tech article. However, I think that this style and quality is what we need moving forward. Video that makes you think...what a concept.
Rehpotsirhcj - We thought long and hard about that, and our solution is to keep Fuel Magazine going as a high quality printed product, and use Fuel Tan TV as a digital counterpart. So you get the best (hopefully) of both worlds. Chrimson Ghost -I share your frustration. Getting printed matter from here to you is a large task, and one we are working on tirelessly. As a small independent publisher, it is a constant uphill struggle, particularly due to the weight of each magazine. We will keep trying! We do ship to the USA via our online web store. Thank you.
Man, nothin' but cl***! It's actually relaxing to watch. It doesn't need the one second picture change to keep your attention. Shop time without the drama....excellent work guys!
Cool seeing one of my workmates achieve Rockstar status! Craig is and always will be a cl***act!! Nice job Fuel!
Congratulations on those videos, they are great inspiration, I wish I had something like that closer....
Congrats on a very well done job ! I hope we can get it here easily one day too ! Keep up the great work ! Retro Jim
Definitely some cool stuff. Look forward to seeing more. http://vimeo.com/24757584 Caught an Alliance Badge on the oil filter of the car @ 1:32. Reminds me of something I need to do.
Wow that was really nicely done... I'm deleating all my files and starting over hahahaha... can't wait to see more.
This is a bump for this thread as of last week the fuel tank DVD is out and finished and so effin cool. So nicely filmed and put together of very high qaulity. If you've met luke ray (fuel mag) or Tom Broadhurst (bandit films) u straight away get an impression and see just how commuted to qaulity an and nothing less. There both very p***ionate about what they do and what they want to acheive. That's why this DVD has turned out so damn cool. Maybe it's just that I'm bias because one of the films is about me my car and my club but they did an amazing job and with an hour and a half of Bevin plus extras it's worth buying and waiting for number two............ Des
yep, its pretty cool, went to the launch in Adelaide last weekend bought it and the ltd ed mag, and caught up with luke and the eager travellers from melbourne, good turn out and a chance to catch up.
Yeah Ben, robin and a few guys went didn't they? ******** just a quick cruise up to Adelaide. Looked like fun. Derek russell
Just another day in a hot rod Thanks for the hospitality fellas. Oh yeah....Fuel Tank TV....still haven't finished watching it all but it's good. Different pace from Mad Fab for sure, but really well put together. Congrats Tom and Luke. Pete
WOW. I really loved the video teaser on the annual DVD. But I'd like to know a little more about the overall content. Will DVD #1 be a collection of similar video bios or perhaps more on specific builds? Regardless, will it cover all of their initial efforts and bring us up to date, so to speak? Gary
I have had my copy on order for a long time waiting for the release! I can't wait for mine to show up here in the US
Yeah guys it's a collection of about ten short films. The one on me my club and my shoebox ford goes for 15 mins the one On chopped goes for around 35-40 mins or so. It shows people and there builds. What goes on, intervie with them laid over with good music. The chopped one shows all the dirt drag action at chopped cars in the show some really nice pics by my buddy Chris cooped are featured. There is a nice short on Martin from the vultures his story on how he built his hotrod including pics from the states when he went on a trip to collect all the oarts and the story behind it all. Ben from ranchondeluxes neat as 32 roadster. Theres heaps ofcontent that will not dissapoint. Be good for the american car scene to see what us aussies get up to. Buy it and u wont be dissapointed its amazing waulity and really well shot.the cultur
Gary, The films are more about the people and their thoughts and experiences in hot rodding. It's well shot and editted. There are definitely cars but it doesn't follow a build. It's probably more about what makes us tick. I'd be interested to know if that translates in the US. I think it will. I don't think we are that different.
