4 days and counting!! 32 progress

At the beginning of the weekend I had my doubts about getting the coupe done. Now I'm pretty sure it will be done. I'm still worried about the motor and the clutch but I think we have it figured out.

The shop was a bee hive of activity all weekend. Most of the crew was there helping out at one point or another.

Johnnylonghair and the Dirty little princess helped fatabone on his car Saturday while "That guy" (Matt) and Sumo helped me. Matt's my best *****! We had a little bid of fabrication to finnish up on the frame and then primered everything. Matt cleaned up the rear and ****** while Sumo lettered the coupe. Nappy showed up with lunch and drilled a few things that needed drilled. Nappy is a rolling party!

Late Sat. night I painted the rest of the suspension pieces black so we could ***emble the frame Sun.

We got the frame mostly together Sunday while Jaygeff did some bodywork on the seats. Tank helped out by doing the rear brakes.

What a weekend!! The car is looking really good. It's gonna be a long hard week but I think it will make it to the Showdown.

So do Nailheads still **** or is it a SBC?

 

No SBC. Not sure yet about the nailhead. Parts are not availble locally. I'm glueing(silicone) the motor back together. I can't get gaskets in time. I still need a piece or two machined to make everthing work. Nailheads ****

holy ****, looks like theres gonna be a re-evaluation of the *****dom, guess gl***hole and i better get to work. fuk it im goin to the shore. nah, Clark i should be able to make it up a few times this week, unless Bill decides to pull rank on you. but i just think hes happy to get the plymouth runnin again. hey maybe if all goes well, i might be able to slide up there in the ford! legal and stuff. thanks for your help with that ***le too. The anti-freeze green coupe in the back really looks great. Is there any more information on that? I'm really hooked on green right now.

 

Oddjob...search MR Yuk for some posts on the green car. We're trying to get it done by Friday too. You can also PM Fatabone for more info. It's his car.

Ran into a few small snags today. The body should be on tomorrow.
