32 frame for 20 bucks?

so today i went to a good friend of mines house to ride in his 29 coupe he just bought, needless to say it was fun, but to get to the chase he was talking about hot rodding it and was talking about how itd be nice to buy a pre made frame, and i laughed and said well damn if you wanna spend that kind of money id just get a ford 32 frame... and thats when he told me he had one, of course i was like dang!! where? he took me to the a back field and pointed and sure enough there it was, it had been modified for a model A sedan done in the 50's and was pretty rough, but he said he bought it and some sheet metal for 40 bucks from the old guy who had it, i told him id give him 40 bucks for the frame right now and he was shocked at how bad i wanted them, i even told him they cost a lot (he said he didnt know they was worth so much), and i even showed him some new ford 32 frame prices in some magizines, of course this was on my mind all day after i left his house, and a little bit ago i shot him a text asking if he wanted to do some trading for them, just told him to tell me what he valued them at and id give he something of value, and shortly after he said, just give me 20 bucks and their yours i love friends and im glad i used the bathroom right before he said that

I think we all want to see photos before making any more comments, you didn't mention what 1932 brand the frame was, $20.00 for a Chevy may be over paying.

 

this guy has helped me out a quite bit, i helped him out on some parts the other day but nothing like a 32 frame but im guessing he was greatful for that, he also said he was gonna give me his practically rust free 37 dodge truck cab, still gotta go pick it up, not sure what ill do with it yet, but free is for me, but im on the hunt to get some cool stuff for my his coupe, but thats what friends are for right?

 

haha its a ford 32, but yes when i go to get it ill take some pictures, im not gonna lie though its pretty rough and needs a lot work, but for 20 bucks im thinking thats not much to lose, heck if anything the story of getting a 32 frame for 20 bucks is worth 20 bucks itself

holy **** 20 bucks for anything 32 is unbelievable!

 

the last car part i bought that was less than $20 was an oil filter.........you owe your friend a lot of free beer

 

welp i got my 32 frame tonight, definately needs some work and removing some old brackets, and remove those 283 motor mounts, hit it with a wire wheel and start repairs, but for 20 bucks im not even gonna begin complaining

 

Like to see some pics of it.... well maybe not. Might make me even more pissed off.
