I remember in 2006 we had a 331 I believe that we saved from a 54 dodge car that was completely rotten. It would turn over but we didn't know anything else about it. I tried to sell it for $350 I believe. I finally traded it for a 48 chevy truck that I eventually sold for $400

I bought an Ind. 331 a couple of years ago that came out of a totaled T-Bucket that had been rear ended. It is the one in my 34 in my avatar. I paid $2500 for it, but it came attached to a C4, also had a Weiand 2x4 with Carter carbs. It hadn't been started in 7-10 years. After install it was fired up and sounded really nice with what sounds like a pretty nice cam.

I found my Dad a running 331 in Southern Illinois, complete with starter, 4bbl intake, Mallory distributor, exhaust manifolds and a clutch and 3 speed for $800 a few years ago. Then he sold it to someone in Iowa for $800.

I recently purchaced 7 392's amd 354's at a tag sale and haven't seen any offers yet to my ads.
I see this with a lot of ads on E-Bay, a lot of good stuff but no one is buying now.
Good drivers are selling at a fair price but no sales on the $65,000 or $300. cars.

Near as I can tell, your "for sale" ad is just asking a question about magnafluxing and line boring. If they're for sale, don't you think you should probably mention that?

That post was about the value of magnafluxing and line boreing before I advertize them for sale.
I have since then decided to sell them as is, and have posted several For Sale ads.
I was commenting on this post that there has been little interest so far to my ads.

Alot of folks get nervous about buying long distance and having to deal with the shipping issue. Try offering to crate them and even deliver to your locak truck dock for a nominal fee. Not everyone lives within a 3 hour drive...
