A good day at the engineers on Monday, the roof chop, ch***is mods and engine fit up were signed off on. The mounts for the Chrysler torsion bar front suspension are in place and we will begin the task of fabricating 2 half door skins, one complete near side front door skin and the radiator frame over the next couple of weeks. Progress will speed up a little now the major part of the work is out of the way.
The engine fit up is a small block Chrysler/Dodge 360 hooked to a 727 Chrysler transmission and Ford rear end lifted from an Aussie built Ford XR8. All of the mounts to hang a Chrysler torsion bar are in place, we will use genuine fan belts etc also
