460 question

    ive been working on a old car i have and only thing left is the pullys, its a 1978, 460 and someone told me they have 351 modified pulleys that would work, does anyone know this for sure? wether they will work or not

    I dont beleive so. If you look at summit or jegs they list pulley kits for 429-460 seperately. I know the bellhousing is the same for 351M-400-460, maybe thats why he thinks it will work.

    I am pretty sure you have to go with a 429-460 pulley, I spent a fair amount of time poking around the junkyard when I needed pulleys of my 429 and the only ones that fit were off of a 460.
