Well I'm 14 now and I'm a lot better at art now. Haven't posted anything in a while so here are some pics. I'm selling the originals framed at $15 a pop plus shipping and handling and color copies unframed for $5. Want to fix up my 57 Ranchero. Pics will be framed and are 8" by 11". Their ink pen and colored pencil on simple printer paper.

I do hope formal art instruction of some sort is in your future. I'm not an artist, but I do see things in your work that tell me you have a future in it if you work it right. I'll bite on the 5 window to put my money where my mouth is and to support a budding entrepeneur. PM me payment info and address.

Dang, Thunderbird beat me by seconds. If you'd like to do another similar, that'd be great.

  7. Two things to consider young artiste'...

1: Join Motorburg and learn from those that have gone before you.
2: Start working towards going to Art Center College of Design...I did and now I get to draw cars every day and they even PAY me for it! Such a Deal!!

Scribbles, What makes your work good is that they are freehand expressions and not traced off a photograph. Integrating background elements like the towing sign , BUMBLE T and the starlight shape also gives your work your own style. The next thing you might want to study is engine shapes - blocks, heads, valve covers, headers, manifolds, carbs and how the whole engine sits in the frame. They don't have to be drawn like photos but knowing the basic shapes will allow you to simplify and give your drawings some needed believability. Building model cars is good experience for that. If you want to do more character-driven work like your pink Willys drawing study Von Franco and Ed "Newt" Newton. Keep up the good work!

WOW, kid, you've really got some vision...I'm very impressed with what you've posted, reminds me of stuff my buddies & I used to (try) to do back in the 60's. Except ours were never this well executed. Keep at it, you're on the right track!

Cool pics. If you are taking orders, I would be interested in something with a 59 Elcamino.

    Keep up the good work.

Do you have a website? I would like to send you a picture of my soon to be completed Model A and have you do your art work version of it.
    Later, Joe

    nice work...........

  29. Nice stuff.

This is basically what occupied every second of my time all the way through all of my high school classes. Of course the difference was that I sucked and you're talented.

Keep it up....turn it into a career and you'll be a happy dude

  30. I personally hope that formal art instruction is not in the cards. Why screw up a good thing?

Young man keep scribbling, with or without art school. When I have 15 bcks again I'll come a knocking.
