Great coverage, with the video and the music you really get a feel for the atmosphere of the event! And I know I say this everytime, but man- do I love the Los Boulevardos flavor.
Glad y'all like the video! I had a great time making it, hanging out with LBCC was a killer way to spend the weekend. Met a lot of great people and saw some amazing cars. Headed to my local cruise night back home here in Charleston, SC tonight and I'm afraid I've been ruined. Haha... just won't be the same. By the way Bad Bob, I really dig your merc. Took a few more clips of it, but had to sacrifice a lot of good stuff to get the timing right The cutting room floor is littered. Tempted to make an out-takes video hahahaa..
As mentioned, Alex(skidmark) is the talent behind the camera and the computer. He shot all of this footage and edited the video on the plane ride back home to South Carolina. We Boulevardos just showed up with our cars ready to have a good time. Alex, I can't thank you enough. And a big thanks to you guys that dig the Boulevard Buggy! I know it's an O/T make, but style wise I was aiming for a 60's Roth-esque vibe. I drove it from San Fernando out to Ventura. Maiden voyage. It was fun as hell.
the next trend possibly??? i see lots of flakey, 60's style manx buggys with mag wheels and skinny whites in the future! all of the little kids that wandered by with there parents were ruined!!
Damn Eryk, with a soundtrack like that no wonder you guys kick so much ***. If I had a video of my experiences it would probably have the Benny Hill soundtrack playing while the Stooges smacked each other around. Yet another event that is going on the calendar for next year with a big red circle on it. Thanks for the video. It definately made me jealous of and for those who went.
Kudos on the video... Damn, been trying to make the move out west for two years now. Videos like this, just adds to the motivation.
Hell yeah! Saw you coming up to the exit and said "I gotta get this one!" hahaha I wasn't taking a chance of missing it. There were other shots of your car, but like I had to do with Bob's Merc... could only fit so much into 7 minutes. The editing room floor is littered, I gotta make an out-takes video. Cheers, Alex
