Some where in some magazine or book I saw a belly tank that was street driven back in the day. I remember (I think) slots in the front for airflow to the radiator but not much else. Has anyone seen this? Do you remember where it was published? Do you have any pictures? Any help would be appreciated. A friend has a line on a WWII belly tank and he already has a V8-60 so he was intrigued when I mentioned the street version. Please help an old hot rodder (my friend) out if you can.
It might be the car that was built and driven close by in Maryland. I was at the auction when the car was sold from the builder and owner. Try searching the name Condon with bellytank. Clark
