Art & Inspiration Remember the 13yr old artist

When I was a very young mechanic an older more experienced mechanic took me under his wing. Sometimes talent needs a little direction. If you comprehend what I am endevoring to convey.

 

Much improved Scrib, lookin' good...FWIW, I went to art school in Omaha, NE...took three years to do a two year course ...and learned so much I didn't think I'd ever get thru the course...

Since then, I've made a living by working for ad agencies, commercial printers, boutique design studios and my own art/design businesses. Currently I do t-shirt design for many, many car clubs/companies in the western US...it pays my mortgage and gets me "play money" to build my cars, what could be better...???

The best thing for you is art school...learn from the best. Stay at it...

Way to go kiddo! If you love drawing cars, if you don't already have the book, Thom Taylor's "How to Draw Cars like a Pro"...gives a lot of insight.
Stick with it, draw everyday, and learn all you can.

Also, you made me look at how I was drawing when I was 14 years old (I'm 18 now), this is a piece made during classes, A3, and without any reference... Too bad I wasn't into real hot rods at that time
