    Excellent Talent.

  2. Jeff,
When I was a very young mechanic an older more experienced mechanic took me under his wing. Sometimes talent needs a little direction. If you comprehend what I am endevoring to convey. ;)

    Completely Pork.
Drive, determination and Talent are the 3 keys to being successful.... and this young lad seems to have it.
A very old mentor of mine once told me"your going to make a million mistakes,.... better get cracking."

Last count,....I'm around 6.5 mill.... and still making them.

Much improved Scrib, lookin' good...FWIW, I went to art school in Omaha, NE...took three years to do a two year course ...and learned so much I didn't think I'd ever get thru the course...

Since then, I've made a living by working for ad agencies, commercial printers, boutique design studios and my own art/design businesses. Currently I do t-shirt design for many, many car clubs/companies in the western US...it pays my mortgage and gets me "play money" to build my cars, what could be better...???

The best thing for you is art school...learn from the best. Stay at it...

    R-

Clever, that locomotive dragster! Nice work. You'll be going places in the art world but don't forget English class...They are, not their.
    All the best.

  8. Looks like your doing great work for your age! Keep up the great work. Should only get better from here!

  9. Way to go kiddo! If you love drawing cars, if you don't already have the book, Thom Taylor's "How to Draw Cars like a Pro"...gives a lot of insight.
Stick with it, draw everyday, and learn all you can.

Here is a link to an "on-demand" printing outfit. You can order as few as one copy. You can also put your art on shirts mugs etc.
I have used them and they do good quality work, quick turnaround and not too expensive.

That stuff looks pretty cool! Keep it going dude, practice makes perfect!
Also, you made me look at how I was drawing when I was 14 years old (I'm 18 now), this is a piece made during classes, A3, and without any reference... Too bad I wasn't into real hot rods at that time :D
