Happy Birthday Matt ! Recently I have had the distinct pleasure of becoming a HAMB Friend with "Mattbee",... Matt just turned 16 years old, But he has a p***ion for real Hot Rods like I haven't seen in any young guys in decades. He is currently trying to build a recreation of the Dudley Proctor "Buntline Special" His research of that car and Dudley himself has been truly top notch all the way. Matt is helping a friend and fellow MHRA member do some re-arraigning of his barn,... and we have talked at length about him,... He is on his way to becoming a true Hot Rod / Drag racing historian. So all you Antique Hoodlums, Greasers, ol'farts, gray beards & aging gray haired galoots,... Sleep well tonight,... As long as young guys like Mattbee are coming up,... Hot Rodding will stay alive,... even long after were gone. Keep the flame alive Matt,... and share the gospel of hot rodding with others,.... Happy Birthday Some day when you are old and grey you can bore people with these old stories from the HAMB back in the day. Take lots of pictures and save them.
16 good times.. enjoy your youth.. do not try to grow up to fast and have fun man.. best advice i can give you and iv only made it to 36 so far.. if i had to relive my life.. i would of not try to grown up so fast even tho i did not really have a choice.. so now i tell every young gun.. enjoy being a kid you only get to do it once.. rock on dude and i hope you have many many more moons of hot rodding ahead of you.. happy brithday.. chris.
This kid can go to the dragstrip for a hour and 15 minutes and have 45385 quality photos, top notch photographer for sure.
