OK I am not a flathead knowledgable guy. I have some Eddie Meyers heads that have the center water outlet. I have an engine with the front water outlet. Can I put those heads on that engine?

Those sound like V-8 60hp heads...
If you want to sell them let me know.
    Thanks

Why do they sound like v8 60 heads? 59AB's have center outlets too.

And yes I believe you can swap heads between 8BA's and 59AB's but you have to plug some of the coolant p***ages. Not sure which. It's probably covered in another thread.

actually, the EM V8-60 heads had a water rail along the top with the outlet in the front, i believe. if they are standard 24 stud heads with a center outlet they are 59AB (1938-1948).

Count the holes for the studs. If both the block and the heads have 24, they'll work. Otherwise, not.

You'll need to block a couple of holes in the engine deck on the p***enger side to use those 38-48 heads on a 49-53 engine block. Been done a thousand plus times. Lots of folks love the late engines if they have the earlier heads on them.
