Hello from Southern CA

Hi! Good to meet you. I've been watching H.A.M.B. for awhile and I love the wealth of helpful information and history here so I just joined. I work for the company that promotes the GNRS and Sacramento Autorama. I'm working on making my 1954 Chevy pickup my daily driver (slowly...but surely.) It belonged to my father-in-law and when I was in the military, I would come home on leave and help him work on it, go to car shows, cruise, etc. When he p***ed, there was no way it was leaving the family. I'm looking forward to learning more and making some friends here. Thanks!

Hi BigBri: Good to meet you. I live in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, and spend the winters in Palm Springs, CA. Love all the car shows there. This past winter I bought a 1940 Pontiac two-door sedan there and had it shipped back.
