Tell you about myself I am originally from Long Island where I grew up. My dad worked for Hempstead Lincoln Mercury as a mechanic for 35 years where I basically grew up in that shop had many muscle cars and been a car guy all my life. I moved up to Burlington Mass a couple of years ago due to a job transfer, I work for an Aerospace company (engineer) 23 years now and I am 51 years old. I bought my merc due to it's apparent rarity and as a tribute to my dad i remember these old mercs as a child and they hold some nostalgia for me. So I can turn a wrench I do most of my own work I do stay away from heavy body work and paint. My plans with this car is to make some updates Tri power, different wheels, update the brakes, Tremec 5 speed, heads, headers and probably a teardrop hood. I do intend to keep the all the old parts to protect the value of the car.

Hey Jimbo17 I see you have an old Freeport track decal I will be ordering that, I grew up there. Also presently I am in Naples FL maybe Ill see at one the events down here have my car with me.
