I have finally made the decision as to how I am going to power my shoebox. I am in the process of purchasing a 1998 Mustang GT and am going to use the 4.6L and 5-speed as well as rear diff. Has anyone done this yet? Recommendations on front end? This will be my first attempt at major surgery so I am a little apprehensive... Thanks!

idk about a 4.6, but a roller 5.0 might be a little easier. theres mounts for the 302 and t-5, use a s10 tailshaft on the ******, and you can use a bronco/ranger 8.8 rear end

I would not use a 4.6. To much electronics for me. 5.0 or 5.8 would be my choice.

Hanks hot rods sells motor mounts and headers to fit a 4.6 in with the stock front end no problem.
