Any help or advice would be fantastic!

  2. Show us the car. Pictures.

Moon discs on T's are fine, provided it's the right T w/ the right styling.

if you need 13", j.c.whitney has 'em for 19.99 a pair, real, screw on style, not those crappy snap-on jokers. i don't know if they have 14's or 15's anymore, but that's where i got mine, many years ago (1990?).

yeah, they'd look good with the right size wheel and tire combo...think tall and narrow, like a bonneville car, not short and fat.

  7. If you are going to run moons do it right! No Snap-Ons!

    Dave,

That's a fine looking model! Is that all scratch built? Another photo or two would be good. Great job.

This car looks fine! Before I read that it is a model, I was thinking, "Man, those tires must be over-inflated!"

There's not too many cars they DON'T look good on.
It gives it a "racy" look, if that's what you want.

Not a Model T, but not that far off..... My roadster at the salt a few years ago.

  12. Not a T, a 31 A on 32 frame rails with gennie screw-on polished Moon discs. A trad look that wasn't often seen.

As a small fwiw, the pre-drilled bolt patterns from a set of gennie Moon discs from back in the day and today do not match.
(And then there's the owner drilled bolt pattern which is a whole other story.)
Wait until you get the discs you will use before drilling and tapping.

Some may argue the point, but back in the day the wheels were drilled and tapped for machine screws (8-32, 10-32 etc.) and seldom were the clunky looking sheet metal screws used.
Machine screws used were usually slotted or phillips.
As well as allen heads for the guys who wanted to keep their discs.
Strangely enough and as cheap as a set of allen wrenches were, not too may carried a set in their tool box.
