Hahahahahahaha!

 

I was at the last 2 in Morris (#7 & 8). I thought it was the perfect setting for the show, especially having cars sitting among the trees. A very cool vibe, at least for me.
I'm glad to happen to have the experience and have no regrets. Thanx Chrome Czars.

 

One month to go!!!!

 

Since it's the last one, I'll have to make it down. It'll be a loooong drive with 4:56 rear end gears though.

 

3 WEEK WARNING!!

Ten years, wow. Here are the logos (ignore the "photos"... I borrowed the images from our site). Former Czar Brian Marra did the first logo, and Chad "Django" Hill did the rest.

All the logos with cars included cars that attended (or were set to attend) the Pileup, except one which was never finished.

i gave quite a few of the stickers away when i sold stuff here. just spreading a little pileup around the country.

Just booked the hotel, Its going to be an awesome weekend!!! Anybody cruising down from the Chicagoland area friday afternoon? Its always better to roam in packs.

 

Cant wait, Ill be down friday for the pre-party, gettin ready for the best damn car show around!

 

If you pop over to the Czar message board, you will find that some people are organizing a nice leisurely cruise to Decatur on Friday, but I think they're leaving in the morning

 

Yes I saw that. That cruise down 66 would be so rad! However I don't think I'll be able to get the day off to leave that early.
I actually joined the Czar board a while back, but I waited too long to do an intro so my account got deleted

 

The 10th Anniversary Poster is finished! And boy am I glad too!

Definately gotta grab a shirt while im there! This sux tho, its the first year i have had a car to take and its the last show!!!!!!

 

Just found out this is going to be the last one Well, it was a great time while it lasted. This year will be my sixth straight Pileup, just bummed I won't get a chance for number seven. Thank you Czars and everyone else, sure will miss this show. Here's my sedan and me in 2008 and 2009.

 

Just a reminder that we are hosting parties on FRIDAY AND SATURDAY nights at Snappers in Clinton (15 minutes north). They will have a fried chicken buffet on Friday night and a roast pork buffet on Saturday before the bands start. $8! and the food is REALLY good!

Killer bands, and we will be showing trailers from hot rod, juvenile delinquent, biker, horror and sci fi movies all night, both nights!

Friday night: 3 Bad Jacks, Hot Rod Hucksters, and th'Empires
Saturday night: The Gravetones, and MG & the Gas City 3

So don't go home right after the show or retire to your hotel, Nancy. You only live once, and this is the last Pileup!!

 

WOW, my hats off to you guys for all the hard work long long hours and being true what the pileup is was. Plus doing it for 10 long years and making it better and taking on all the head aches then donating the proceeds Rulers!

i guess i scratch it off my list of shows i would like to get to. Sounds like it was a hard decision to reach but i really respect the way you went out on top. there is a season for everything and it looks like this one is coming to its end. Hope to see a lot of pictures for one more virtual visit.

Nic, sorry I missed last year and seeing you and all my freinds. Life got in the way and hope it doesnt this year. We all have our bucket list and my wife bucket list is the Chicago Marathon and has been training to do it under 4 hours. I have to support her bucket list so my visit will be short but I will be there. I will be driving down on friday by myself in a roadster. Thanks JohnB]

Oh shit Rick forgot about bring food, this would be the first with no hotrod chili or Bbq pork. Not much room in the roadster for my big ass but I will try to bring something . I didnt know but alot of famous chili joints in decatur go figure rays and?
