Event Coverage MN (and surrounding) 5th Annual Bull Bash! - Sat., 9/24

It's my birthday the first weekend in October and close to the end of the car season here in the frozen north, so its time for the 5th annual Bull Bash. We did this a few years ago to celebrate my 30th birthday and it's become an annual get-together at our place. So come on over for good eats, nice cars & bikes and an all-day bonfire.

Where: 9840 42nd St. NE, St. Michael, MN 55376 (PM me for directions if you need 'em)
Date: Saturday, September 24th
Time: 2:00 PM - ?
What we will provide: Our famous chili, pulled pork, baked beans, corn bread and any other ***orted goodness we whip up. We'll also have some soft drinks hand.
What to bring: Side dish to share (not required but appreciated), your adult beverage of choice, a lawn chair and your ride (if you haven't put 'em away for the season yet!).

We need to trade sometime John. The next time we're in IL, we'll have to hook up! Been awhile for sure.

 

Burnouts.... hmmmmm. I haven't tried since I put the new tires on. But I'm sure I could find out.

Just got a new fire ring for the driveway last night. Just have to stock up on wood now. With any luck the fire won't be out of necessity though. Always hit or miss on weather. A couple years ago we were freezing and huddled around the fire all day. Last year we had gorgeous warm weather all day. Never know with Mom Nature!

Just got a load of wood for the bonfire last night from Motoboy. Hopefully we won't be huddled around it for warmth!

 

The 10 day forecast is showing upper 60's through Thursday the 22nd. Lets hope that trend continues into the next weekend!

The Bash is just over a week away and I can't wait!

 

Well, it's shaping up to be a pretty big Bash this year with the invite going out to 2 very large clubs in MN. Me and my big mouth! Should be a great day!

Yep. I missed the last meeting but got the GSTA invite info via email. Hopefully the weather holds out!

 

The weatherman says 76 and sunny as of this morning. I hope that forecast holds. The block could be bursting at the seams with rods. Less than 5 days til we find out!

 

Me and the little guy will be there right after he's done napping.

 

Damn, I'll be helping shingle my sister's house again next weekend, would much rather check this out!
