True, I've definitely paid more for less. Especially that acting cl*** with Carl Weathers I took. He's not very good, but I should have known that going into it huh?

Any thoughts on a route change for the Eastside group? Stay on highway 2 to Coulee City than drop down to Soap Lake. 10-15 miles longer but still on state roads and different scenery. We can talk about it at Chris's Weds nite.

If nothing else you guys should go to see Chris' '41 Convertible and how far it's come in what seems like a couple weeks. He sent me a few pics yesterday via email and I drooled over them pretty much all night until I got to the shop where I showed a few more Iron Lords and they started drooling. I wish all of the participants nothing but the best this upcoming weekend. Good luck and have fun!

hotrod-40 GFY for taking my truck out. :D

You can come and go as you please. You will just miss out on the bands and such. The official cut off time is noon so cars will be rolling in up to then

Alan Stacy a Spokane Model T club member and the man that put together the east side trophy for the reliability run p***ed away last night. Alan went into the hospital yesterday with kidney failure, and later had emergency heart surgery. His health has been gradually deteriorating over the past few months, but he always maintained his smile, sense of humor, and willingness to volunteer and help wherever needed. He was especially close to the people of the Spokane Model T Club and the Inland Northwest Car Club Council, holding officer positions in both clubs in recent years. He currently was vice-president of the T Club, and just this last Labor Day weekend, he and Suzie volunteered for a speedster run checkpoint, while also taking over 750 photographs of the 35 speedsters along the route. He was also the tour route chairman for this year's Car Club Council's "Park-It" tour which is scheduled for this coming Sunday. Alan & Suzie always enjoyed participating and organizing many functions, including nursing home visits, food bank collections, and other charitable fund raising events where they often took either their '15 Roadster / Pickup "Fire-truck", or their beautiful '27 Pickup Roadster . This trophy was pretty much the last thing Alan did.

missing out on some parts of the "entertainment" might not be a bad thing 52plybizcoupe.

But they don't chain anyone to the post to make them stay until the end either.

Wow Mike, that is terrible news. I feel for the family. It sounded like he was doing what he loved until the end. Rest in peace Alan.
