How about a meet and greet on Friday early afternoon? Roadstar and I will be stopping at the Goodguys Hershey show on our way to the Jalopy Showdown and from what I gather from a number of PM's so are a few others.

Since it's a first year show I really have no idea where to suggest a meeting place EXCEPT Roadstar's son Race will be working the Eagle One booth so why don't we meet there. It's an outdoor vendor spot. Should be easy enough to spot.

    There will be cookies:D

How about 2pm at the Eagle One booth??

If the 32 and fatabone's car are done I'll be there, otherwise I'll be in the shop.

Just so you're prepared, there's a brand new big***ed chainlink fence around the Giant Center parking lot just for this event. $15/ spectator, $8/ car for parking.

What Larry said. I heard $65 for late registration. It's at the AACA museum on rt. 39 about 3/4 miles north of the Giant center. Take a look at the '54 Corvette on the turntable, it has 71 real miles on it.

When I called the Good Guys office I asked what it would cost to register and renew our membership. I was told $80  I believe it is $30 for the renewal so I guess $50.00 is the registration. But I am not sure. Either way it's expensive!!!

Friday off as a vacation day, splitting gas expenses with Roadstar, got a p*** to get into the GG Show, reasonable entry fee for the Jalopy Showdown, and most importantly I don't have any kids that are draining me dry.......... I spend my disposable income on Big Olds and car "events" period. I don't drink expensive beverages, smoke, buy clothes, or have other expensive hobbies. (well except baking cookies) :D

The form that I printed out about a month ago from the GG's site said $65. If it's $80, I'll just park in the freaking spectators lot. $80 my ***! By the way, there's an Alan Jackson concert Fri. night at the neighboring stadium. Smart of them, huh? Traffic will be a ***** Friday evening!

Unfortunantly no, we're going to hit the GG DesMoines show the weekend before instead. You know, trying new and different shows, shake things up a bit.;) If your coming up for Billetproof Detroit I'll have plenty there though.:D

It was only $80 with a membership renewal. the 65.00 was pre reg fee. They didn't earn the name Greed Guys for nothing :D We are going both Fiday (leaving way before Alan gets there to head to the Jalopy Showdown for Friday night set up) and Sunday. We have 2 vehicles, a rod and my car to haul the goods for the showdown. Till we pay the admission for 2 people both days and pay to park both vehicles outside for 2 days we may as well renew or membership, register and park the deuce inside. It will end up costing the same

See you all at 2:00 at the Eagle One Tent. We'll have some beers at the car also. I'll have a barn fresh 30 Model A coupe in the car coral for sale. Special HAMB discount if anyone from here wants it.

Hope I caught you guys before you left home. Cool it, the local cops are everywhere. Wouldn't be making too much noise and laying rubber. I just came in the house, been listening to sirens all evening. Yes, I live that close!

Greed Guys will not get a penny of my money. Not $80.00, not $1.00. I'ld rather see my money go to Larry and the museum. I'll be at Latimore from Friday afternoon until Sunday. Hope to see lots of HAMBers there. The Showdown is the best show anywhere. Why go anywhere else?
