I picked this up last night locally here in Sc. Has anyone ever heard of or seen one of these? Normally I wouldn't ask on here, but I can't find anything here or on the web.. Odd? I have a Fenton 2/2 I was thinking of running but like this a little better... The bad thing is it was painted.. Gotta figure the best way to clean the paint off... Thanks..

Sure looks like a re-branded Edmunds, with the odd spacing between the carbs. :)

Never seen one. Looks very interesting though. Remove the paint with sand blasting or some other media if necessary. I used to get my older brother to take my intakes to work & he would blast them for me. Makes for a nice clean slate.

I've got one on my T. I've never been able to dig anything up on them. The original owner of mine had it since it was new, but couldn't remember where he got it from.

i hate to high jack your thread but since flathead guys will look at this im curious.. some of these intakes bring in big bucks.. if a guy was to have the gift of foresight. and knew what these would bring in the future cash wise.... what could he of paid for these when the V8 took over. when flatheads were largely forgotten.. 5? 10? 100?

I bought several dual intakes for both Ford flatheads and early Chevy sixes in the early to mid '80s for anywhere from $10-$25.

Go slow, before you strip it be sure its not original paint like came on some early manifolds. I can't tell much about the paint from the pic but, it might just be my monitor. Nice find.

Several manifold manufacturers made runs of manifolds of their design with other names on them for regional parts distributors, speed shops. etc.

V8 bob, your the second person to say it looks like a rebranded edmunds... Here's a pic of the bottom... Maybe gives a hint to someone who has a 8ba edmunds..

Also there are some casting marks shown in pics...

    Thanks for the help!

I would go with glass bead blasting or maybe some nut shells. Leave the sand on the beach

  15. My 36 came with a MULTI-POWER dual intake on the merc flat head. I ended up selling it to a friend for his 36 Ford. He is running it with two 94's and it works pretty good. I had never seen another one and could not find any info on it either. Mitch.

I bought an Edmunds off ebay a couple years ago, thought it was polished but the A-Hole had painted it with chrome paint, I took steel wool and thinner to it and found it had been polished once a long time ago and had great patina when I was done. If I'd had it blasted it would have ruined it I'd check it before I blasted it.

paint stripper works great, I've used it on intakes and alum valve covers.

    Like Heathen, I bought a Edlebrock w 3-2's from a repair
shop that had removed it from a customers car who wanted
    a stock setup. It had 3 97's with linkage for $25 !
Only about 5% of guys did hot rodding back then (1962)
and as a result used equipment was dirt cheap.
I was building a Model A coupe for D/A at the time.
Hope the attached pic's work OK.
