    NASA, We have separation!
Twelve hours, 1/2 gallon wd-40, 6 sawzall blades, a bottle of map gas and 3 grinding disks and it's off. I can't believe how hard it was to remove all the nut and bolts. I got a gallon of wd-40 and a plastic squirt bottle and pre soaked them all week long. Ch***is looks good, just 2 spots to repair.

Read that and was thinking 3Window, I forgot you had the 4Door. That looks real nice, guess it is a MidWest car. :)

I might have to. The car has been sectioned 5" at the belt line so a stock grill is going to be a problem. But first thing first, I want to start with the right ch***is so the body sits right. Change the windshield back to a stock tilt, then the right front/rear fenders and running boards. After that I'm open to change the front. I do want to use the stock hood made into a 1 piece.

That 40 appears to be a 35/36 roadster with a 40 front grafted on. And the windsheild a chopped stock roadster windshield.

I'm not sure why all you fellas are complaining about chopping up the mordor someone else on here sliced and diced a '36 2 door AND A 3 W COUPE to make a custom!!!!!!!!!!!! The sectioning is a real bummer maybe you'll get lucky and find they only channelled it and moved the fenders up

ok shekky now that everyone has had a "crack" at it (hopefully) all the jokes are done lets get serious and realise this is a real steel '36 Ford 3 W coupe! Sir would you consider accepting a slightly used left nut for it?
Whats happening now? Is there another thread? Like to know what happened with it

Wow! This car is going to be a real challenge! I'd suggest that the OP take some good side shots of the car and ask the help of all the really talented H.A.M.B photoshoppers to see what they can come up with for a front end treatment that will work. It won't be easy...

The original poster hasn't been here for a year now, so he may not see this revived thread...
