I would suggest a dropped axle from 55 Mercury here on the HAMB www.droppedaxles.com

There are lots of pics and a tech article of how to do it on your truck.

Jaguar xj6 or xj12, big brakes, and virtually bolt in.

Depends on what you are after with it. Ride quality? Ride height? Wide wheel/tire? Brakes?

Camaro clips are a little wide unless you want to run a narrow wheel up front. Limited and expensive options/parts.
S10s are a little narrow unless you want a wide front wheel. Great ride, very versatile, cheap parts.
MII are also on the narrow side, ride varies by spring rate also very versatile.
Stock with dropped axle is a good option if you arent concerned with ride quality, handling. There are brake upgrades for stock axle out there also.

I have a 50 on a S10 frame. Truck had a camaro clip when I bought it but I was unhappy with the stance and wheel options. Mine is on air ride now with 8" wheels up front and im very happy with the results. It was a lot of work though.
