Have a Cobra replica w/ 427 and 4 speed top loader. Having major clutch and shifting issues . Just returned from track day event where I had shifting problems from not being able to get into gear to once in gear the clutch would not disengage. Thought I solved that problem to now I have no gear engagement. Like every gear is neutral. Bled hydraulic clutch, adjusted push rod, nothing changed. Transmission overhauled and clutch replaced last Oct. Not interested in returning to that shop. Any suggestions on who would be the best person in the Atlanta area to contact. Thanks, Lou

If you find that it's not a problem with your hydro clutch. Pull the trans out, pull top cover off. Since the toploader has the shift rails running through the case, the shift forks are kept in place by heavy set screws. That if not lock down with locktite, can loosen after alot of hard shifts.
I had this happen on an off topic car, but it happened after several years of use.
It's an easy fix. You don't have to tear the trans apart. Check with David Kee's website. There should be an exploded view of the trans, and shift rails, so you can see what I'm talking about.
I'm by far no transmission expert, but that fixed my problem. Basicly you are in neutral, as the shifter is moving the shift rail but the fork is not moving with it.
    Hope that helps.
