'62 Chevys-who's got 'em?

Just curious. I noticed google doesn't pull up much as pix-even lowrider pix.

 

I heard Custom Rodder had a thing for '62 Chevys...

 

What about 63 Chevys? specifically wagons?

I know a guy who has a restored ***s-purrfect '62 409 he really uses as his daily driver.

Here´s my 62 Impala. All stock with 283/PG.

 

this is one of my favorites, from americruise in lincoln, mid-nineties. mine's just like it, except for my Eric Vaughn-widened vintage Torq-Thrusts and nice paint, which i don't have...

 

I drove a '62 Impala 2-door hardtop back in high school. I loved that car.

 

So I take it that 1962 Impala's were not popular for kustomizing/rodding?

 

JimC had a really really nice 62 I believe, red.

Did you catch the Overhaulin Bel Air? They did a helluva job on this car. I was really impressed.

this car used to belong to my roomate.
He sold it to a Lowriding Cholo who tried to put the tailights back and couldnt.
He sold it a month later it's now lost somwhere in Santa Maria.
(Hope the picture shows it's the first time I've tried)

He's actually gettin a four door 62 biscayne tomorrow I think.
