Here's a few of my pics from Billetproof in Antioch. What an incredible weekend, I'm still amazed that I made it to a car show in my Buick. I still have a ton of work to do, but damn, that feels good. Here's some pics, there's a whole lot more on my blog, with a full write-up and a hell of a lot more photos. http://bombcitypress.blogspot.com/2011/09/billetproof-worlds-least-important-car.html Thanks to everyone who made it happen, I had a great time. Enjoy: Gearing up for the drive: A big, huge, enormous thank you goes to the Dragoons Car Club, you guys are the best. Thanks for helping put on one of my favorite shows of the season. Rad model cars: http://bombcitypress.blogspot.com/2011/09/billetproof-worlds-least-important-car.html
Hey Nic -- swung by the booth but heard you were in Italy(?). Picked up some little pages and talked to her about some more of those custom pillows from the RZ BBQ. Your car looks rad man. Great pictures, always look forward to your perspective and pictures of events.
Yeah, I was a bit taken back..... I thought it could make sense, he seems like a cultured guy. I was buzzing a little, maybe she said "roam" and I thought Rome but I double checked with my girlfriend who agreed we heard Italy. Either way cool pictures again.
went there from stockton with every intent of having a good time ( a little bit of a drive) and one of the dragoons at the gate proceeded to make fun of my hood strap and my gloves.. it was cold and i dont have windows and my hood needed to be held down some how so i could drive the car(see avitar) not a very good impression at all for their club. then i seen a fully chromed a billet truck (60'S) there with cardboard cover its wheels..and i got shit for a ratcheting hood strap on my model A?
honestly, we JOKED and HECKLED with everyone that came through the gate that day (ask anyone). maybe you were just a little too cold and road tired to understand that...we'll go a little easier at the gate with the jokes for the thin skinned next year but in all seriousness, it wasnt anything personal or anything other then the guys having fun at the gate, and sorry if you took offense to it.
