Any HAMB recommendations on a shop in NH that rebuilds flatheads? Or adjoining states I guess to expand the inquiry, ME, VT, and MA.

Ive used Jack Lundin in Burlington,MA. His grandson is doing most of the machine work now, but not too far from Jacks watching eye!

Flatheads aren't rocket science , If you can put a Chevy or Ford OH together, you can put a Flathead together. If it 's machine work, any respectable machine should be able to do the work for you. Just jump in a do it,that's where all the fun is. Use a little common sense as you go. Have fun.

Guys, thanks for all the ideas. I have built flatheads myself including the injected alcohol motor in my avatar, our old rail now owned by **** K. out on Cape Cod. But we are moving to an apartment (so no shop) and I am a full time caregiver for my wife as well as recovering from my own cancer surgery this summer. Life has a funny way of changing your plans. My chopped shoebox is my "last hotrod" and I'd like to have a fresh motor in it, 93K on the clock now. Hence my desire to have a good street motor ready for spring installation.
