Customs Cool old pic of a a chopped 41 ford carson top car in 1947

So I remember seing this really cool panoramic picture my grandpa always had in his office at home, i asked him about it a few yours again and he said he was in a motorcycle club and that that was a pictured of a rally they had, Jennie my wife was up visiting last month and asked him if he could have it scanned so we could make a couple of copies, well my grandpa mailed a disk with it on it out the other day and my wife gave it to me as an aniversery gift, so i downloaded the pictured, he had it scanned profesionally so it was a very very good scan, i started zooming in and looking over the pic, low and behold theres a 41 ford chopped carson top convertable in the pic, im gonna ask him if he knows anything about it but probably not.

Ill try and download the hole photo buts its pretty big so i dont think it will fly, but i know the croppings i took of it will.

Where is your grandpa in the photo? Not that I know you or him, just curious.

 

I cropped the pic down, theres some many people it would be hard to say "hes right there" but, hes next to the headlight in this pic, with the gogles on his head.

Damn that is a cool photo...a real cool photo. I volunteer for a Meals-On-Wheels route and talk to a bunch of "old-timers" and am always interested in the old photos they have around...and they love talking about years past and I love hearing about it.
