Anybody have any info/build facts about the 1957 Olds owned by Russ Grady and built by Herb Gary? I remember reading somewhere that Russ Gradys nephew was restoring it to its last (gold) version. I dont know much about this car, but it has to be tied as my #1 all time favorite. Any photos or info would be appreciated. Thanks Guys!

If anyone knows what's up with it, Anthony White will (00Mack here on the HAMB).
I heard the same thing, was being restored by the original owner's nephew. It's a shame he can't get Herb to redo it...I believe he's still alive, but I'm not sure if he's still doing cars, though he still owns his Aztec (sectioned Dodge)
Ray Soff would also definately know, but he's not on the 'net.
I actually prefer the earlier version...the Celestial Olds. The Oriental got a bit weird with the see thru top, and rattan seats!

WOW, it looks preety good in profile, with the fade-away paint! Been wanting to do a paint job like that for a long time. Don't know if I can pull it off on my Olds, though.
Any work of how the resto is going?
    Anyone see Soff to ask?
