any reason port15 wont work? http://www.por15.com/ i read his partner split the company and offers a product that dose the same thing but is cheaper.. chris.
KBS has a frame coating kit (satin-blk and other choices)--3 step system clean, blast and seal. www.kbs-coatings
I used a bedliner kinda product. It hasa lot of solids in it, its made specifically for under sides and bumpers to be stone/chip resistant. And i think it looks kool too under there. so much, i even did the suspension w/ it....
KBS's frame coating kit...or a Ribberized bed coating kit like lizard skin is very popular...The rubber coating will help sound deaden the road noise.
Wouldn't use Black Jack unless you don't mind it stinking when hot pipes get near it. I just cleaned and painted mine with Rustoleum Satin Black. Been holding up great.
I have been using Raptor from U-POL. great product http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/my-u-pol-raptor-documentary-lining-tub-580879/ http://www.u-pol.com/documents/datasheets/tds/RLB-TDS-US.pdf Great adhesion, very high solids content, little overspray. Does not like to be applied to bare steel. Needs at least DA with 80gt, U-POL recommends spraying it over etching primer. Keith
Why not just do it in pickkup bed liner? It comes in gallons, you can roll it, geta couple aerosol cans of it to the places you can't get a roller. It's what I did the underside, and all the inner panels of the '36 with. Cheap, good sound deadner, and it doesn't look half bad. Brian
I like the truck bed coating 3 cans at 8 bucks a pop will do ya.It goes far ,,,There is also Enamel and you can paint your frame ,Is this truck together or apart ,Driver or show car.
I just used dupeacolor bed liner and it went on great ,covered minor scratches and overall looks great, but then i am not putting mirrors under my car .Its washable and looks real clean.Just remember the more you prep the better the job.Invest some time and you won't be sorry
