Mike just had a meeting of the Rusty Nuts last night at his garage to go over some of the final details. Some of the first outside entrees will have some very nice surprizes handed to them as they enter through the gates. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the show. The show almost feels like a reunion of sorts. I'll be working the gate early in the morning so it will be nice talking to everyone as they drive in. See you there, Al "vegas"

Congrats on being chosen for the inside display. One of the best shows on the East Coast. Mike and his crew do a great job for a good cause. I'll be there come hell or high water, and we've had quite a bit of that lately!......Don.

These hotels are about 20 miles from the Jalopyrama site. Easy drive on 100 east to 97 South. Hope this helps.

Me too!!!

My wife called around and hasn't been able to find anything under $300 a night!!!!! I'll drive 40 minutes to a hotel if I have to but I gotta get a room since my 1 year old will be with us.

 

How is Glen Burnie in terms of "sketchyness"? Is it ghetto?

 

It's just a regular small town with lots of houses built in the 50's, 60's and 70's and lots of car dealers and restaurants. If you need "GHETTO", there are hundreds of acres in downtown Baltimore that should suite your needs.

Hey everyone, I'm working with the Annapolis Sheraton to gain some more rooms. As soon as I know so will everyone else.
The Fairfield Inn near BWI airport is located near Nursery Rd. and Andover Rds. I was told this is a new (August) hotel and may have vacancies. There are numerous hotels near and around the airport which is about 20 miles from Annapolis in the Glen Burnie area.
There is a homecoming game for the Naval Academy and two Academy reunions, oh, and also a wedding with reception at the Marriott in Annapolis. I'm trying my best to get more rooms opened up at the Sheraton from other rooms blocked for these events. The hotel caters to the blocked rooms for groups first so I'm told. If all the blocked rooms weren't used by a certain date in September, I was promised the rooms would be moved to the Jalopyrama block. Hang in there guys and hopefully I'll hear something in a day or two.
