    Condolences and Prayers.
This hits home hard, my good friend is traveling back to TX from the Silver State now. I've talked to him a couple of times on the road and he hasn't mentioned anything about the tragedy.

  2. I worked with Rick and his son Ridge on the starting line/staging lanes at the Eagle Field Drags and now have a very heavy heart about losing another friend to a racing accident.

Don't get me wrong, I know he was going at 200 mph (adreniline-wise) as was his car, been close to that and probably felt the same sense of calm just before the the crash (I just got a few broken teeth and a 30-s***ches gash on the side of my ol' noggen back then).

But just the fact that it suddenly becomes a thousand mile an hour situation...,

To say I wish for us and his family to rewrite this past week-end...Let's just say, he beat us to the finishline.

Godspeed to you Rick, and prayers to Ridge and to family and friends. :(

P.S. The Fresno abc tv station did an excellent 6 O'Clock news piece on the family.
