Was on a doodlebug marked '31 Dodge, but the cowl shape and the grille shape made me inclined to think 33-34 Dodge. The shape matches up fairly well, however the bars are all wrong from what I can see in my Chrysler book. Too thick. They're aluminum and I'm not 100% sure they're original - but if someone made them up they went to a lot of work, the inside braces are curved to match the shape of the top and bottom of the opening in the shell. Yet there's two screws at the top middle to hold them on which I really doubt is factory. Unless it's for a truck or something, and a badge was originally attached where those screws are? Doodlebug was kind of a neat piece, it had a big plow on the front, the stock motor, cut off with just enough room to sit behind the dash, wire wheels with big snow tires on it, a flathead six for power, etc. Definate cob job, the bolts that held this grille on were 2" cap screws with a nut threaded all the way up the threads so they could be used to hold it to the front crossmember.
Bottom half of what? That's a complete shell, it stands up on it's own because of the radiator and frame mount bracket on it.
The bottom "shovel" is cut off. The bottom came way down, and outwards to meet the 2 tips of the frame rails. 1935 big trucks, also were like that one. I think I have the lower part here if you want to fix it.
