I need a rubber boot/bellows; think of a master cylinder with the push rod - cover where the rod goes in with a boot sort of like what you see on a CV joint. 1-1/4" dia x 3/4" dia X 1-1/2" long It would have to be one to fit a specific application that I can use on my set-up; I've 'googled' the heck out of the subject but can't come up with any sizes. Anybody use one about this size and can tell me where they got it?
What comes to mind is a tractor shift lever boot, also some early 60's combines had steering brakes with master cylinders under the floor, so try a search for tractor parts, then try to narrow it down. Hope this helps.
Try your local auto parts store , ask for a "Universal steering rack boot" they have staggered sizes each end and you just trim to suit . .
Check mcmaster-carr, also i've got something here that's a little too big, its a golf cart steering rack boot, there might be other sizes...
