Here's my Barn Find...1927 T Coupe. Got this in Paris, Texas today. The body is excellent, no rot on the body at all. The deck lid is trashed, but I have another one to replace it.

very cool-gotta chop it - likely need to build a longer frame unless you run a V6 or 4 banger

I'm definately gonna chop it. I have a model a frame, model a axel and juice brakes, still need to find a rear end. Thinking about putting a straight 6 in this one.
I bought a another 27 Coupe body a couple weeks before I got this one. I bought some doors for it but they need work. I'm gonna sell the T running gear and the first body I bought. Heres the other body...

The water temp gauge is from an International. I would guess it's the dash from a Farmall.

  15. dont chop it...then its just a belly****on car....the top on those is what made them cool............

It really is. The doors are perfect, no rust through what so ever. The body has no rust through either. Once I got all the feed sacks, bailing wire, heavy machinery control panel, clothes, and rat **** out, the only rust though was right under the seat and its minor. Really looking forward to this one.

I have to agree dare to be different. by the way doors are the sames as 28,29 model a truck. mine is on a boxed model a frame stock firewall cut and flipped 3" strip added. frame Z'd in the rear and boxed. open banjo rearend etc.. Most of all have fun and build what you want not what someone else want you to.....

All you need to too is chop the top , channel it over the frame, kick the front end out, put the six in it and have some heavy tattoo girl with a bunch of iron hanging out of her and you would fit right in to that IN CROWD.

Cool find. Have to say, I like her with the stock roof intact as well.

Looking forward to gearing about your progress!

  26. some cars look great chopped.....model A's, model T's.......topolino's......

everyone constantly bugs me about choppin the top on my topolino........and yes, i think chopped topo's are evil looking......but i have a steel 1938 topolino,,,,,factory hardtop, which i must add is very rare....and i went thru a lot of searching to find a roof to weld back into Lil Beast...but as of now it is unchopped...

    Lil Beast 8-12-11.jpg

but it don't look like every gl*** topolino rolling down the track....and i think it has a great look to it unchopped...and i still love the chopped top look on topo's....but...........

so as they say, build it how you want it...but just make sure of how ya want it before ya do any major mods to it...hard to revert back sometimes...

    here's ya a pic of a t coupe..rolling around these days still...
kinda hard not to like it un-chopped now, ain't it:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    pt t.jpg

so have fun, building it how you decide......;)
