Howdy y'all. Just joined up and hope to learn some stuff and help out where I can. I've got a '54 Pontiac Catalina that I've owned for 7+ years. Do all the work myself. It's got the original 239 flat six and Hydramatic tranny. Not sure how much longer the tranny's gonna last so once that goes, I'm stickin' a Chevy 250 or 292 in there. I'm familiar with the 292 as I've got one in my daily driver, a '65 Chevy truck.
Just as long as I can make it up to Paso next weekend, it's all good. If it dies after, then I guess I'm fabricating motor mounts!
