I drove it to the local hot rod breakfast this morning.

I see why the '32 is the king of hot rods.

This car just drove like a dream, you can hardly feel the bumps in the road, it steers nice, it's roomy inside and man, everyone notices a bare metal car!

Winter is coming soon; that's when there will be time for the interior. Looks like fun, maybe some day..........

congrats, i have no idea why 32 got stuck with the year to have ( same could be said for the 59 les paul.. damn things have baseball bats for necks, yuck.. but the good sounding ones sound like pure ***!!!)..
but it looks like your have a nice example to work with.. enjoy her till it gets cold then time to finish her up. congrats on your drive.. must feel good.

Very nice work. Love the metal. What color will you finish it in to keep Mr Rust from eating it?

Luckily in Colorado there isn't much humidity, that whole car has been in bare metal for a whole year!

I plan on painting it Gloss Black with an Oxblood or Maroon interior.

Simple color choice. At least it's not gonna be red or some pastel color...Seems like part of the California hotrod scene has worn off you....Glad to hear that..

  26. You've done an outstanding job, Ed. Thanks for the ride.

It's supposed to be a 40's style SoCal hot rod and that's what it is.
