    since everyone left town I 'm going through withdrawals!!!!!!

    I have a need to go somewhere, Anybody going to Pharoah's Kruzin the heartland thing in Lawrence, Kansas?

  2. I wish I was going, but I've got a ummmm, golf tournament to play in that weekend plus we're putting on a party on the 29th. You might swing by my place, kegs, food and who knows whatelse.

    I'm going to see the Mezcal Brothers tomorrow night, they are a great band from Omaha.

    They'll let you in...I e-mailed the "boss" there in Lawrence about letting in my radical 'chopped '57 Chevy rolling on aluminum wheels (and with tweed interior) and he said, "Sure, bring it on down, we love those 60's kustoms." So, don't think they'll have a problem with YOURS!!!

    I'll be there! Introduce yourself if you see a pastel Mint Green kustom that does not look like a '57 Chevy!!!

    I circled the weekend months ago! Draggin the whole family there. My buddy plays in on of the bands, can wait to see em - Pauly Blue Note and the Dukes

    I'm giving it some careful thought...it's 201 miles from me. Not too bad a trip in the old Poncho coupe.......Hmmmmmmmmmm a nice break-in run for my new rear main seal and clutch...

    It appears I have all the bugs worked out of the Pontiac....I'll be leaving Friday after work....coming home the following Monday morning....

    Hey Rock, thanks for the offer. I am going with the wife to Kansas City on friday, then Lawrence on Sat. We will be driving the Coop. I know not a hotrod, atleast we will be there. See you there!!

    My dad will be there in the roadster p/u & I may try to sneak over on Saturday morning before work and Sunday for the breakfast cruise.

    Also, for the local KC guys. Next weekend is the Kansas City Timing ***oc. 50 year reunion at KCIR on Saturday. From the KCIR site>>>>>

    Former Mid-America Raceway in Wentzville, Missouri and KCIR present the 1st Annual Cowtown Hot Rod Reunion and Nostalgia Drags. June 3-5, KCIR will turn back time and visit Drag Racing of the past. The event will feature the Ozark Mountain Super Shifters, Geeser G***ers, Blown Alcohol Alterds, JR Fuel Cars, Nostalgia Twin Engine Dragsters, Cusom Stree Rods, Memorabilia Displays, Memorabilia Auction, and Hundreds of Race Cars. We will also feature original ****ie Harrell cars inluding his 1968 funny car!     Gates will open at 10:00 am on Friday and 9:00 am on Saturday and Sunday.     Wonder if I can get my car legal in a week? I got popped - the car can't leave the garage again until it's legal.
