Depart at 10.30am sharp(ish)


Going via 101 south for ease, shouldn't be too much in the way of traffic by then.

Costco has a gas station, gas is cheap there, and most people are members (and if you aren't, just tell them you forgot your membership card)

Dave: Any plans for a gas/rest/loo break in the middle like in King City? We usually stop in King City for a break, pick up the Photo Buy papers, etc... Guess we might try to catch you on the highway, more likely you will catch up to us!

 

Open to idea's Ted....you know the area down that way better than I do...

I'm new to the paso thing. Can we just pull up in the town and park on the street somewhere, or is there a fee to park?

 

If you 'enter' the show, it cost's something, think maybe $30 or so....most people just park up in town....

dunno if diane got the hotel info from ginger yet or not, so i dont know if we are going yet. i want to, it sounds like a blast!

Not sure if I can make it friday....work. And no hotel room. Don't know if I feel like driving to morrow bay to crash 2 nights in a row.

 

I think we've got a few leaving Santa Cruz Saturday morning, but we haven't got a time/place to meet set yet. I thought there was going to be a Saturday group meeting in Gilroy too??

 

I dont think Im gonna be able to make it to Paso cause of work. Its a damn shame, I was looking forward to it.

 

could always do it at the same place. I'm down to leave pretty early as well...avoid a bit of the heat on the long distance.

I just don't know if I can leave friday.

 

Update.....

MrsA32 has found a gas stop exactly half way...

Greenfield! At the moment it's $2.51 a gallon of regular, best to fill up at Costco before leaving Gilroy, it was $2.32 today when I left work.

I know you got a room, your dad told me. Oh, and dont be too shocked if theres rainbows painted on your car right before paso.

 

Just tell your boss that you have to be gone for three days! it's memorial day weekend for gods sakes!! your not supposed to work.

 

Maybe I'll meet up with you folks in Greenfield as there are a lot of *****en back roads I can take to get there in the "jerky" Chevy, my only question is why are you leaving so damn late and driving down in the heat! (sorry with my schedual 6am is late!) .....

 

Gives people who are travelling from the North & East Bay a chance to get there without having to battle too much commute traffic, anyway, the cruise isn't till 7pm...and we gotta get Mr Jetlagged Kev out of bed! He's on his way here now

I might roll out to say what's up on friday but I won't be heading down to paso until Sat as I'm not registered and not staying in paso.

Be leaving gilroy pretty early on Sat to avoid a bit of the heat...a bit...
