I feel bad that so many people traveled out to the nostalgia drags in Morocco yesterday (9/18/11) only to have the event washed out before 8 am. I tossed and turned all night trying to think of a way to make it up to them and here's what I came up with. Just pay the general admission fee of $15 for each person in your group and there will be NO CHARGE for a swap meet space or a car show entry. I'd really like to see the swap meet fill up with vendors for two reasons. First I think it really adds to the flavor of the event, hell who doesn't like looking at old tin? You sell a couple of your unneeded parts and you just covered your admission fee and gas expense! Number two is I've got a great spot for the car show which will allow you to see every car returning from running down the strip as they return back to the pits. No judging but every entry will receive a beautiful participation certificate suitable for framing. It's to late to run any ads advertising this offer so I'm relying on the H.A.M.B. board and it's members to help spread the word about this event. Gates open at 7 am, this is going to be a fun event!
